Principle and Application of Total Nickel Analyzer
Nickel is carcinogenic and toxic to aquatic organisms. The main industrial pollution source of nickel is waste water and residue from mining, smelting and electroplating.
Principle: under the condition of high temperature, using nitric acid to digest, adding masking agent to cover interfering ions, oxidize nickel ions to nickel tetravalent through oxidizer, react with chromogenic agent in strong alkali medium to form wine red complex, and measure the absorbance of the complex, the content of total nickel in water sample was obtained.
The main application scenarios are the monitoring of enterprise rainwater and sewage, the monitoring of total copper content in municipal pipe network, pumping station, groundwater, river water, lake water and sea water.
